Top 9 Flight Necessities

A Good Book: I always bring a solid book to read for my flight if I don’t want to watch a movie or take a nap. I have to be at least a chapter through the book for me to read it on the flight just because I’ll know prior if it’s a good book or not. I’ll link a few books I’ve read or that I’m currently reading down below.

My Computer: I know this is one of the more “basic” things to bring on a flight but I bring my computer on every trip! I love downloading new movies and being able to watch them if I want to change things up a bit from reading. Sometime’s I’ll download them from Netflix the night before or import movies from our family hard drive! Personally, nothing kills time more than watching a solid movie! If anyone has any recommendations for movies, let me know! I always enjoy checking out new movies! Also, if I take any photos on my trip, I like to edit them through Lightroom on my computer! I have the app on my phone as well but I just find it easier to do on my computer to where I can see all the “Presents” I’ve created! Let me know if you want to see a blog post on how I edit photos!

Advil: It may be just me but sometimes if I stare at bright or blue light for too long, I get massive headaches that last about 24 hours. Strangely enough Advil and Caffeine help! You’re probably thinking that I am having Caffeine withdrawals but I rarely ever drink coffee, tea, or anything that contains caffeine! Advil works in your favor for any pain relief! I always bring a travel sized bottle just in case! If it is an early flight, I’ll sometimes take a Benedryl as well so I can sleep on the plane!

Travel Sized Pillow: I bought my travel pillow about 5-6 yrs ago and so I was not able to find the exact one but I found a couple that are about the same size as mine! I never fly without a pillow! A couple of times I’ve tried bringing my regular pillow but I could never get comfortable because the size was too big! Linking a couple I found below!

Gum/Breathe Mints: Sometimes people like to start conversations while in very VERY close courters and sometimes it’s 7 am & I have cotton mouth. Therefore, I always make sure to have Peppermint Gum or Altoids handy just in case.

Portable Charger: MY LIFE SAVOR…most planes I have been on don’t have outlets under their seat areas so I always make sure to bring a portable charger especially if it is a longer flight. Sometimes I’ll plug my charger into my computer but that drains my computer battery more if I am watching a movie, doing homework, etc. I received the Jackery Bolt Portable Charger for Christmas and it has been LEGIT. It has lasted me 5 days without charge before. It offers a built-in iPhone/iPad & Andriod charger! So no need to go through your bag to find your cords! It does have an additional USB drive if you want to add your own extension as well!

RX Bars: I ordered a box of these last year and now they’re my go-to if I’m in between meals and just need a snack with protein in it. They’re also great for on-the-go which is why I’ll bring a few on my trips with me! I’ll eat a bar or a hard-boiled egg before I head to a workout too but hard boiled eggs can smell so I like to just carry these! RX offers multiple different flavors and on each bar, they clearly state everything that is in each bar! Each bar includes 3 egg whites, a combination of nuts, and 2 dates! I haven’t tried all of them but my favorite right now is Mint Chocolate!

Fuzzy Socks: I don’t know about y’all but I get cold on most plane’s I’m on! If my feet are cold then my whole body is cold. Therefore, I always bring fuzzy socks in my bag to keep my feet warm just in case!

EOS Chapstick: I always bring my EOS chapstick on all my flights! You really never know when you’re going to need it or not! So just in case, it’s with me if my lips get chapped!

Hope this post is helpful! xx
